Ezekiel 37:1–14 tells the story of a vision God gave to the prophet Ezekiel. In this vision, he saw a valley full of dry bones —lifeless, scattered, hopeless. God then asked Ezekiel, “Can these bones live?” And the prophet wisely responded, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” 🦴 DRY BONES ARE PEOPLE WITHOUT GOD These dry bones are more than a picture of physical death. They represent human beings without God —spiritually dead. A person may be breathing, walking, working—but without the Spirit of God, they are like dry bones: no life, no power, no purpose. This is how many souls are today . Some are surrounded by religion but still dry inside. Some are chasing success but spiritually starved. Dry bones . 🗣️ THE WORD OF GOD IS THE BREATH OF LIFE God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones .   The rainbow is more than a beautiful arc in the sky—it is a divine sign , a spiritual message , and a prophetic picture of God's mercy and restoration . In Genesis 9, after the flood, God placed His bow in the clouds: “I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.” — Genesis 9:13 The word used for “bow” is the same word used for a war bow . It’s as if God said, “I’m hanging up My weapon.” But pay close attention to the direction the bow faces—it curves upward , toward heaven. 🔥 What Does That Mean? It means that God is no longer aiming His judgment at mankind. The arrows of wrath —which justice demanded—are no longer fired toward humanity . Instead, those arrows now point heavenward , and at the cross of Christ. That’s where mercy triumphed over judgment . Jesus absorbed every arrow. He took the curse. He became the sacrifice.
