In Genesis 6, the world was filled with wickedness. Violence, corruption, and rebellion against God had spread across the earth. The Bible says, “Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.” This truth carries a weight that we often overlook. Think for a moment about what it means when a president walks into a building or home. He never walks in alone—he is surrounded by top-notch security 24/7. His every need is met. He doesn’t worry about what to eat, drink, where to sleep, or even which hospital to go to. Everything is provided and protected because of who he is and the authority he carries. Now pause and think: how much more when the Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of God—the Creator of the universe—dwells in you? If earthly leaders are accompanied by legions of guards, then surely, you as a child of God walk with the fullness of heaven’s backing. You are not alone.
