WHEN THREATS RISE, FAITH STANDS: THE POWER OF OBEDIENCE.

  There are moments in life when fear tries to take center stage—when words spoken in anger or pain shake the very foundation of a family. Recently, my family faced such a moment. A message filled with threats came from someone close to us, someone hurting deeply and acting out of that pain. It would have been easy to respond with panic, anger, or retaliation. Instead, my father chose a different path: he told us to pray. At first, that response felt almost too simple for something so serious. But in prayer, something powerful happened—clarity replaced confusion, and fear gave way to faith. I was reminded of the story of Elijah. When threatened by Jezebel, Elijah ran—not out of defeat, but as part of his journey of obedience. In the wilderness, God did not abandon him. Instead, He provided water from a brook, food in a time of lack, and direction when Elijah needed it most.
